Excellent self-management, communication skills, and reliability are crucial for operating independently and collaborating remotely with operations teams. These competencies ensure safe, efficient, and compliant flight operations while working from a non-traditional or remote base.
As a Home Based Pilot, your daily tasks often include pre-flight planning from your home office, conducting safety checks, coordinating with dispatch and operations teams remotely, and traveling to the aircraft’s location for scheduled flights. You may regularly communicate with maintenance staff, manage required paperwork, and ensure compliance with aviation regulations. While you have increased autonomy, you’re still an integral part of a broader team, using digital tools to stay connected. Flexibility and strong organization skills are key as your flight assignments and routes may vary based on company needs.

We are looking for enthusiastic individuals with a passion for aviation, who have the initiative and competence to make a significant contribution to the organization.
The captain position will report to the Chief Pilot and the Director of Operations.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Demonstrate ability to function as Pilot in Command
• Ensure that all flight operation activities are in full compliance with applicable FAA regulations
• Ensure that all flight operations activities are performed in accordance with the company manual, directives, policies, and procedures
• Ensure personal compliance with company safety standards
• Must reside within 90 minutes of a major airport
