We are partnering with the Rhode Island Office of Energy Resources to find a detail-oriented Program Coordinator to support the implementation and administration of energy efficiency programs, including rebate application processing, invoice review, data entry, reporting, records management, and federal home energy rebate initiatives.

The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational, data management, customer service, and administrative skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Adobe Acrobat and the ability to maintain accurate and confidential program information while supporting multiple energy efficiency initiatives.

Pay & Job Highlights:
Pay Rate: $30 per hour
Location: Providence, RI

Responsibilities of the Program Coordinator:
  • Review and process invoices, rebate applications, and related program documentation, ensuring information is complete, accurate, and properly maintained.
  • Transfer, compile, organize, and enter program data from online portals into spreadsheets and databases while maintaining accurate records for reporting and internal program use.
  • Create, update, sort, and organize Microsoft Excel spreadsheets containing program data; verify information for accuracy and identify discrepancies requiring follow-up.
  • Support federal reporting requirements and other energy efficiency initiatives by maintaining program records, assisting with data collection and reporting, responding to basic applicant questions, and developing program marketing and outreach materials.

Qualifications of the Program Coordinator:
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, with experience in data entry, administrative support, program coordination, or a related office environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Microsoft Excel, and Adobe Acrobat, with the ability to organize, enter, analyze, and maintain program information accurately.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational and computer skills, with the ability to manage confidential information, maintain accurate records, and work independently while supporting multiple priorities.
  • Customer service experience with strong communication and problem-solving skills.
