Job description

Healing Love Music Studios is a growing music therapy practice providing community-based music therapy services through Indiana's Medicaid Waiver program. Our main office is located in Marion, Indiana, and we proudly serve clients throughout Grant, Madison, Blackford, Huntington, Wabash, Howard, Miami, Delaware, Tipton, Henry, Cass, Hamilton, Hancock, Boone, Hendricks, Johnson, Allen, Elkhart, Tippecanoe, and Bartholomew Counties.


Our mission is simple: support our therapists so they can focus on changing lives through music without burning out. We believe that when therapists are cared for, they provide the very best care for their clients.

At Healing Love Music Studios, you'll work with children and adults with autism, intellectual and developmental disabilities, mental health needs, and other diagnoses receiving services through Indiana's Medicaid Waiver program.

Full-Time Compensation & Benefits (30+ Billable Hours per Week-direct service+planning)

  • Earn up to $62,400 annually, plus mileage reimbursement
  • up to $3,500 Relocation assistance available for therapists traveling from another state ($2,000 towards housing, $1,000 towards moving expenses, $500 towards instruments and supplies)
  • Up to $1,000 annually toward conferences, continuing education, certifications, and new instruments
  • Up to 35 days of paid time off (holiday and sick leave)

  • Mileage reimbursement ($0.67 per mile)

  • Conduct music therapy assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Plan and facilitate evidence-based music therapy sessions
  • Travel to client homes, schools, community settings, or other approved service locations
  • Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation for each session
  • Communicate professionally with clients, families, caregivers, case managers, and interdisciplinary team members
  • Maintain an organized schedule while managing your own caseload with support from our administrative team
  • *therapists receiving relocation stipend will not be eligible for the 1,000 annual bonus the for the FIRST YEAR

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Music Therapy
  • Board-Certified Music Therapist (MT-BC)
  • Valid driver's license and current automobile insurance
  • Reliable transportation
  • Personal instruments and an instrument bag
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check
  • Excellent communication, organization, and documentation skills
