Overview

VTG is seeking an Operations Manager to support our client on-site at Fort Belvoir, VA. 


What will you do?
  • Ensure implementation and production schedules are executed as planned
  • Manage and maintain the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) to support on-time delivery and conflict resolution
  • Coordinate and resolve survey-related and operational issues
  • Ensure effective use of survey and system resources
  • Supervise operational staff and support day-to-day execution activities
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with government and program stakeholders

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, engineering, or a related technical field
    Four (4) additional years of relevant experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree
  • 5+ years of IMS experience, including at least 2 years leading scheduling personnel
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Project (Server or Online)
  • Demonstrated experience developing, baselining, maintaining, and analyzing IMS on complex programs
  • Experience with schedule health metrics (e.g., DCMA 14-point check, BEI, CPLI, SPI)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience supporting the U.S. Army or other federal agencies
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to interface effectively with senior military leadership and program teams

Clearance & Travel

  • Active Secret clearance required at the time of application
  • Travel up to 25%, as required

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs

Pay Range: VTG’s estimated starting pay range is $110,000-$165,000/annually which is a general guideline for the geographic location. When extending an offer, VTG also considers work experience, education, skill level, market considerations and may possibly include contractual requirements which may cause an offer to fall outside of this range.
