POSITION OVERVIEW

Concepts NREC is seeking a highly organized Project Manager to support the execution of product development and testing programs. This role focuses on project planning, coordination, communication, and follow-through to help ensure programs are delivered on scope, on schedule, and with clear visibility to stakeholders. The Project Manager helps drive execution by keeping teams aligned, tracking progress, and managing follow-up, while technical direction and engineering decisions remain with the assigned technical leads.


The ideal candidate has a minimum of 3 years of experience managing or coordinating projects, is comfortable with client-facing interactions, and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. 


For this role an onsite presence is often necessary, however, a hybrid arrangement could be considered.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage product development and testing programs from planning through execution and closeout
  • Own execution of assigned programs, including scope, schedule, budget tracking, and deliverables
  • Coordinate scope changes, schedule impacts, and budget implications with internal stakeholders and clients
  • Develop and maintain project plans using tools such as Microsoft Project or Microsoft Planner
  • Coordinate cross-functional project activities across engineering, technician, operations, purchasing, and client teams
  • Ensure clear and consistent communication of project status, risks, decisions, and next steps to clients and stakeholders
  • Facilitate client-facing discussions, project reviews, and internal coordination meetings
  • Track action items, decisions, risks, open issues, and project dependencies
  • Maintain organized records of project activities, documentation, and deliverables

Requirements

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, engineering management, or a related technical discipline
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in project management, project coordination, program coordination, or a related field
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Demonstrated ability to manage project scope, schedules, deliverables, risks, and stakeholder communications
  • Demonstrated organizational and project coordination abilities
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 tools, including Excel, Word, Teams, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • Experience using Microsoft Project or similar project management software

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience managing projects in a manufacturing, product development, laboratory, or technical services environment
  • Experience coordinating cross-functional teams and external stakeholders
  • Experience preparing project status reports, schedules, meeting agendas, and action-item trackers
  • Familiarity with project management practices such as risk tracking, change management, issue management, and schedule control

The compensation range posted represents the full salary range for the role. Actual pay will be determined based on a candidate's experience, skills, and the position level ultimately offered.
