Job Responsibilities:ย  To develop and provide appropriate treatment strategies within a therapeutic milieu.

Job Duties:

  1. Obtain Therapist certification of License as required by Department of Mental Health and maintain Certification/License in good standing.
  2. Provide therapy in school and home settings (individual, group, school based, family and day treatment if applicable).
  3. Provide referral to services that may benefit the consumer, consumerโ€™s family and/or school personnel.
  4. Establish weekly meetings with case manager(s).
  5. Serve as liaison between student, home, school, and community resources such as family service agencies, child guidance clinics, courts, protective services, doctors, local MAP teams and clergy members.
  1. Masterโ€™s Degree in counseling, psychology, social work or DMH approved related field.
  2. Eligible to meet DMH Certification/Licensure requirements for Therapist
  3. Valid Mississippi Driverโ€™s License
