About the Role
The Home Health Aide plays a vital role in providing compassionate and personalized care to individuals in their own homes, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. This position focuses on assisting clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, mobility, and medication reminders, to promote independence and improve quality of life. The aide will work closely with healthcare professionals and family members to implement care plans tailored to each client's unique needs. By offering consistent support and monitoring, the Home Health Aide helps prevent hospitalizations and supports long-term health management. Ultimately, this role contributes significantly to enabling clients to live safely and comfortably in their preferred home environment.
Job Responsibilities
  • Assist clients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
  • Provide mobility assistance including transferring and repositioning clients to prevent bedsores and promote circulation.
  • Monitor clients' health status and report any changes or concerns to healthcare supervisors promptly.
  • Administer medication reminders and assist with prescribed therapeutic exercises as directed by healthcare professionals.
  • Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients.
  • Offer companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' mental and emotional well-being.
  • Document care provided and maintain accurate records in compliance with agency policies and regulatory requirements.

  • Minimum Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Completion of a state-approved Home Health Aide training program.
  • Certification as a Home Health Aide or equivalent credential as required by local regulations.
  • Ability to pass background checks and health screenings.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to travel to client homes in Anderson.
