Job description

Job Title: Invoice SpecialistJob Description
This entry-level position is ideal for individuals aiming to build a long-term career in logistics, finance, or business operations. The role is designed for someone who is eager to take ownership of their work, solve complex problems, and excel in an environment where systems and processes are constantly evolving to meet business needs.
Responsibilities
  • Identify key information on various vendor invoices.
  • Investigate charge validity and identify discrepancies.
  • Allocate charges to the correct accounts and orders.
  • Utilize various systems to keep records up to date.
  • Keep detailed notes on current processes and procedures.
  • Communicate internally and externally as needed, both in writing and orally.
  • Submit and process claims and credit memos for invalid charges.
  • Review contracts for up-to-date compliance.

Work Environment
Located in Salt Lake City, Utah, this full-time position requires on-site presence from Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM. You will be part of a small team of three members, not including the manager, who provides direct feedback in a collaborative setting. The work culture promotes learning and growth, with the manager actively using feedback as a teaching tool. Employees benefit from a 401K with a 4% match after six months, eligibility for an annual COLA and/or merit bonus after 12 months, and 13 days of PTO that increases by 40 hours after the third-year anniversary.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Salt Lake City, UT.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
