About the Opportunity

As a Performance Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting data-driven decision-making across Central Coast Local Health District by delivering high-quality performance reporting, analytics and business intelligence solutions that contribute to improved healthcare outcomes and organisational performance.

In this role you will:

• Produce and deliver accurate daily, weekly and monthly performance reports, as well as ad hoc analysis to support operational and strategic decision-making.
• Analyse complex healthcare data from multiple sources to identify trends, insights and opportunities for service improvement.
• Develop, maintain and enhance reporting solutions, dashboards and business intelligence tools using a range of data analytics platforms.
• Support data governance practices by ensuring the integrity, accuracy, security and confidentiality of information and reporting processes.
• Collaborate with clinicians, managers and executive stakeholders to provide meaningful insights, training and advice that support quality, safety and performance objectives across the District.

About You

We're seeking a motivated and analytical professional who is passionate about using data to drive informed decision-making and improve health service outcomes.

We are looking for someone who has:

• Relevant tertiary qualifications in Business, Information Management, Science, Health or a related discipline, and/or demonstrated experience in information analysis and performance reporting.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data, identify trends and provide meaningful insights to support planning and decision-making.
• Experience working with data analytics and reporting tools such as Microsoft Excel, Power BI or similar platforms to develop reports, dashboards and performance measures.
• A strong understanding of data governance principles, including maintaining the integrity, accuracy, confidentiality and security of information.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to present technical information in a clear, user-friendly manner and build effective working relationships across a diverse organisation.
• The ability to develop training materials and support end users in the effective use of reporting and business intelligence tools.
