Job description

Clearance Requirement: Active Secret clearance required to start Travel Requirements: No Location: Norfolk, VA SUMMARY: WR has an opportunity for a Software Developer to develop Command and Control software for autonomous naval vessels. Position responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following: Fix bugs and other issues with software. Add/update/improve functionality and user interface and controls. Support demonstrations and exercises, as needed. Interface with customer in regards to tasking, objectives, and deliverables. Candidates must possess the following knowledge, skills, and experience: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Math, Physical Sciences, and/or Computer Science. Three (3)+ years of experience developing computer code and software. One (1)+ year of experience developing computer code and software using C++ language. Experience using JavaScript. Preferred Qualifications Experience using Angular. Understanding of integration between software and hardware elements. The selected candidate will be required to pass a pre-employment third-party background check which may include verification of any of the following: Employment history; Education and/or certifications; Criminal history; Driving Records; Other records or information related to the candidate’s suitability for the position. Position Salary Range: $80,000 - $118,000. The listed salary range represents the typical range for this position. WR bases the offered salary on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual candidate qualifications, such as education, experience, knowledge, and skills, scope and responsibilities of the position, and market and business considerations.
