About the Role

iCapital is looking for a Software Developer in Test to join the Quality Assurance team. The ideal candidate brings practical knowledge of agile development methodologies and engineering best practices. As a Software Developer in Test (SDET), this role will work closely with the Development and Testing team. This individual will serve as a hands-on test engineer with managerial experience, capable of understanding, enhancing, and implementing existing automation test frameworks. This role will also collaborate closely with other engineers and product managers to support featurebased testing.

Responsibilities

  • Build and implement robust automated test suites.
  • Integrate automated test suites with current build and deployment processes.
  • Maintain automated tests to reflect updates in system design and architecture.
  • Implement the automation framework with existing tools (JIRA).
  • Create, Manage, and Utilize Defect workflows with automated test execution.
  • Design and publish meaningful metrics to support automation test creation and
  • Perform all types of testing such as functional, API, automation, performance and load.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience with QA engineering delivery experience
  • 4+ years of delivery within Agile SDLC teams ideally with CICD
  • Programming experience in Java with focus on behavior driven development (BDD) and test-driven development (TDD) and design patterns, ideally within continuous integration (CICD)
  • Experience with Java microservices and REST APIs and exposure to React front end
  • Knowledge of Java, JavaScript, and SQL
  • Proficient in CI/CD technologies such as Maven, Sonar, Git, TeamCity/Jenkins, and Docker
  • AI Integration experience is preferred
  • Exposure to banking or finance environments is preferred
  • Prior experience testing ETL processes is preferred
  • Hands-on experience with testing tools including JUnit, RestAssured, Playwright, Protractor, and JMeter

Benefits

The base salary range for this role is $130,000 to $160,000. iCapital offers a compensation package which includes salary, equity for all full-time employees, and an annual performance bonus.
