The Senior Software Developer will serve as a technical leader across key application areas, mentor other developers, contribute to coding standards, and help deliver scalable, secure, and maintainable software solutions.
What You'll Do
  • Design, develop, test, and maintain web-based applications using C#, .NET, ASP.NET MVC, SQL Server, and Azure technologies.
  • Build and support cloud-native solutions using Microsoft Azure.
  • Contribute to application design using microservices, event-driven architecture, and software integration patterns.
  • Develop C# code in Visual Studio using feature branches and feature toggles.
  • Work with Azure Identity and Access Management, Role-Based Access Control, and Key Vault.
  • Write automated tests for code changes and manually validate updates in local environments.
  • Create QA test cases and collaborate with business partners to support testing.
  • Write and maintain T-SQL, stored procedures, tables, indexes, and views.
  • Submit, manage, and review code using Git and Azure DevOps.
  • Participate in peer code reviews and contribute to development standards.
  • Support backlog prioritization, sprint goals, and delivery of high-impact work.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve application and process issues.
  • Use Azure DevOps Pipelines to monitor build and release status.
  • Mentor developers through pairing, code reviews, documentation, and knowledge sharing.
  • Recommend technical solutions aligned with architecture standards and document decisions.
  • Identify opportunities to automate, streamline, and improve development processes.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 4-6 years of professional experience building .NET Framework applications.
  • Experience developing applications with ASP.NET MVC.
  • Strong C# development experience with object-oriented programming principles.
  • Hands-on Azure experience, including building or supporting cloud-based applications and services.
  • Experience with Azure Identity and Access Management, Role-Based Access Control, and Key Vault.
  • Experience using Azure DevOps, including Git-based workflows and build or release pipelines.
  • Experience writing unit-testable code using the Repository Pattern.
  • Experience with SQL Server, including T-SQL, stored procedures, tables, indexes, and views.
  • Ability to write automated tests and validate code changes.
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycle practices within an Agile scrum environment.
  • Ability to troubleshoot application and process issues.
  • Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to work independently by researching solutions, testing approaches, and presenting options.
  • Collaborative mindset with a commitment to mentoring, feedback, continuous learning, and knowledge sharing.
  • Willingness to work a hybrid schedule with three days onsite per week.
Preferences
  • Experience with legacy WebForms.
  • Experience building cloud-native solutions.
  • Familiarity with microservices and event-driven architecture.
  • Familiarity with software integration patterns.
  • Experience creating technical documentation, decision logs, how-to guides, or onboarding materials.
  • Experience mentoring developers across a team or department.
  • Ability to take ownership of a core application, system, or process area.
Why This Role
This is an opportunity to work on meaningful full-stack development initiatives, contribute to modern Microsoft and Azure-based solutions, and serve as a technical resource within a collaborative Agile team.
