The Senior Systems Developer Analyst is a highly skilled technical professional responsible for designing, developing, and supporting modern digital applications and enterprise systems. This role combines advanced development expertise with systems analysis to deliver scalable, high-performance solutions that align with business objectives.
This position focuses on building and maintaining headless CMS-driven experiences and modern web applications using technologies such as React, Next.js, JavaScript, and CSS. The Senior Systems Developer Analyst partners closely with business stakeholders, UX/UI teams, and IT peers to translate complex requirements into efficient, user-centered solutions.
Additionally, this role plays a critical part in cloud-based application development and hosting within Microsoft Azure, including Azure App Services and related platform capabilities. Responsibilities include developing secure, resilient applications, optimizing cloud environments, and supporting CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.
The ideal candidate demonstrates deep technical expertise, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to lead initiatives and mentor team members. This role requires a proactive approach to innovation, system optimization, and continuous improvement in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:Manages, develops, and implements software solutions.
  • Research software services and products offered by vendors based on requirements, quality, and price.
  • Leads project development, integration and/or API activities with internal staff, computer manufacturers, software vendors, and other users to meet system objectives.
  • Train end users on new and existing software applications.
  • Manages updates and provide technical support for software solutions.
  • Evaluates software trends to determine appropriate software solutions to meet organizational strategic goals.
  • Ability to understand business processes and how technological advancements can add value.
  • Develops and maintains high customer satisfaction.
  • Advisessoftware developers, systems analysts, and other technical staff.
Evaluates, designs, develops, documents, and tests software that meets system specifications and user requirements.
  • Designs and recommend system modifications or replacements based on detailed analysis, new released features, ease of implementation and security.
  • Documents system design, format, programs, and operational instructions.
  • Leadsend-users planning sessions to determine and advise appropriate system specifications and requirements; presents analysis, designs, and prototypes to end-users.
  • Develop new software applications or modules using organizational standard programming languages and develop support materials including program documentation and operational instructions.
  • Maintains and updates existing software applications; maintains coding standards and naming conventions.
  • Develop custom software frameworks to gain efficiencies when developing similar software functionality, tests programs thoroughly.
  • Develop and optimize solutions within the application's platform, applying deep understanding of its architecture, configuration tools, and extensibility features.
  • Creates, implements, and maintains data integrity to ensure accuracy, reliability, and synchronization.
  • Research ways to improve/advanceapplication, integration, or other areas to improve performance synchronization, security, and accessibility.
  • Incorporates AI to influence design, development and other areas as needed.
  • Creates, implements, and manages integrations.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, related area, or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience, including systems development, programming, analytics, and database administration required.
  • On-call work to provide additional support and may require work to be performed outside of traditional business hours including early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays required.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Technical certifications are preferred.
  • Experience with Workday Finance, HCM, Payroll, and Prism
