Position Summary

The EHS Process Innovation Engineer a strategic catalyst for the Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) organization at a hightech semiconductor fab. Reporting to the EHS leadership team, you will own and advance the sitewide "Journey to Zero" vision, driving the Leading Safety Metric (LSM) program and the LevelUp Safety Training initiative. By blending datadriven analysis, creative problemsolving, and crossfunctional collaboration, you will raise safety performance, cut risk, and embed a proactive safety culture where every employee is empowered to act as a safety leader.
Beyond program ownership, you will partner with departments to plan and execute safetyfocused projects, produce KPI dashboards and communications that keep leadership and the workforce aligned. Your role as a thought leader will involve introducing new tools, technologies, and scalable methodologies, such as Human Organizational Performance (HOP), that enhance safety outcomes and operational efficiency across the site.
The ideal candidate brings experience with OSHA VPP, a deep understanding of the Hierarchy of Controls, and a proven track record of developing EHS programs and initiatives. Strong strategic planning, storytelling, and influencing skills are essential, as is the ability to thrive in a fastpaced, advancedmanufacturing environment. As a selfstarter and collaborative partner, you will build trust at every level and continuously innovate to drive the organization toward zero incidents and zero environmental impact.

Role and Responsibilities

Here's What You'll Be Responsible For:

• Ownthe"JourneytoZero"program,advancingthesite'scommitmenttozeroincidentsandzeroenvironmentalharmthroughinnovativeprocesses,employeeengagement,andcontinuousimprovement.

• Leadthesite'sLeadingSafetyMetric(LSM)initiative,drivingproactiveEHSactions,projectcompletion,andmeasurableleadingindicatorsacrossalldepartments.

• OwnandevolvetheLevelUpSafetyTrainingProgram,reinforcingthephilosophythateveryoneisasafetyleaderthroughinstructor-ledsessions,digitalcontent,andcross-functionalengagement.

• DriveEHScommunications&visualmanagement:Producemonthly/quarterlyKPIdashboards,safetyhighlights,andleadershipmessages;maintainvisualboardsthatkeepsafetyprioritiestopofmind.

• Identifyandimplementprocessinnovations:AnalyzecurrentEHSworkflows,pinpointdatavisibilitygaps,andcreatescalablesolutions(e.g.,newtools,automation,etc.).

• Providedepartmentlevelprojectsupport:Leadsafetyfocusedprojectsfromscopetodelivery,ensurecrossfunctionalalignment,andverifymeasurableoutcomes.

Skills and Qualifications

Here's what you'll need:

• 5+ years' experience in Health and Safety is required.

• ExperiencewithOSHA'sVoluntaryProtectionPrograms(VPP)isaplus.

• StrongunderstandingoftheHierarchyofControlsanditsapplicationincomplexmanufacturingenvironments.

• ExperiencedevelopingormaintainingwrittenEHSprograms,procedures,andtheirimplementationrollout.

• Astrongcommunicator,skilledininstructor-ledtraining,facilitation,andemployeeengagement.

• Abilitytobuilddashboards,KPIs,andvisualmanagementtools

• Experiencewithstrategicplanning,programownership,orcross-functionalinitiativeleadership.

• Acollaborativepartnerwhoinfluenceswithoutauthorityandbuildstrustacrossalllevelsoftheorganization.

The current base salary range for this role is between $76,000 - $145,000. Individual base pay rates will depend on factors including duties, work location, education, skills, qualifications and experience. Total compensation for this position will include a competitive benefits package and may include participation in company incentive compensation programs, which are based on factors to include organizational and individual performance.
