Overview

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Home Appliance Technician to join our team in West Frankfort, IL. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of home appliances, ensuring that our customers receive top-notch service and support. Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with home appliances, including refrigerators, washers, dryers, and ovens.

  • Diagnose and repair refrigerators' sealed systems.

  • Perform repairs and maintenance on various home appliance brands and models.

  • Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients about their appliance issues and repair options.

  • Maintain accurate records of service calls, repairs, and parts used.

  • Stay updated on the latest appliance technologies and repair techniques.

  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations during all repair work.

  • Collaborate with team members to improve service efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in appliance repair is a plus.
  • Proven experience as a home appliance technician or in a similar role.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
  • Familiarity with a variety of appliance brands and models.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • EPA Type 1 or Universal preferred
