Job description

Fund Accountant Consultant (Venture Capital)

Hourly Rate: $70-$75 per hour, depending on experience

Benefits: This position is eligible for medical, dental, vision, and 401(k)

Prominent Bay Area based VC firm seeks a Fund Accountant on an interim basis to assist with the in-house fund accounting function for a 5+ month contract duration through 12/31/26. This is a hybrid role working onsite in Menlo Park 3 days per week.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years experience in industry fund accounting at a VC or PE firm.
  • Prior experience in Big 4 Audit/Public Accounting is a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal skills are required.
  • Strong Excel skills
