Expedient Home Physical Therapy is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Full-Time Physical Therapist (PT) to join our dynamic team in Lehigh Acres, Florida. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments of patients' physical capabilities and needs using standardized tools and personal assessments.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's specific recovery requirements, which may include therapeutic exercises, mobility training, and manual therapy techniques.
  • Utilize various therapeutic modalities and equipment to alleviate pain, improve function, and enhance movement for patients.
  • Document and track patient progress meticulously, adjusting treatment plans as needed based on their responses to therapy.
  • Provide education and training to patients, caregivers, and families regarding treatment protocols, therapeutic techniques, and safety considerations.
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure a comprehensive approach to patient care, coordinating interventions effectively.
  • Engage in continuous professional development by attending workshops, participating in peer discussions, and contributing to organizational training during mentorship programs.
Patient Population / Client Focus

This role encompasses delivering personalized therapeutic care to a diverse patient demographic, including children, adults, and seniors facing various rehabilitation challenges. Whether working with post-operative patients, individuals recovering from neurological events, or those with chronic pain conditions, the Physical Therapist will focus on enhancing functional mobility and independence in everyday activities.

Qualifications
  • Valid Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
  • Current State License in Physical Therapy, ensuring compliance with state regulations.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills for effective interactions with patients and interdisciplinary teams.
  • Proficient computer skills, including familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) and telehealth platforms.
  • Adaptable and patient-centric, displaying flexibility in approach and techniques based on patient needs.
Preferred Experience

While a minimum of two years of professional experience as a Physical Therapist is recommended, new graduates with a strong clinical foundation are encouraged to apply as we provide mentorship to help develop your skills and expertise further in a supportive environment.

Compensation and Benefits
