Work Environment

This role is primarily designated for home care, allowing therapists to conduct evaluations and treatments in the comfort and familiarity of the patient’s own home. Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist within our organization, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive evaluations of patients recovering from injuries, surgeries, or chronic pain conditions in their home environments.
• Designing and implementing individualized treatment plans that incorporate innovative techniques such as exercise programs, manual therapy, and assistive device training to promote functional recovery.
• Monitoring and documenting patient progress, adjusting goals and treatment modalities as necessary to maximize recovery outcomes.
• Providing education and training to patients, caregivers, and family members on therapeutic exercises, self-care techniques, and the proper use of assistive devices.
• Engaging in continuous professional development by attending workshops and participating in industry networks to enhance your clinical skills and knowledge.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on a varied patient population, including children, adults, and seniors. You will have the opportunity to work with individuals facing diverse challenges, which may include post-surgical recovery, mobility issues linked to chronic conditions, balance and coordination difficulties, and rehabilitation after sports injuries. Your contributions will play a critical role in helping them regain independence and improve their overall quality of life.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy; a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is preferred.
• A current state license in Physical Therapy.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey treatment plans and educate clients and peers.
• Proficiency in using digital tools for patient documentation and treatment tracking.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to adapt plans based on each patient's unique needs.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of two years of experience is preferred, new graduates with a passion for home-based therapy are also encouraged to apply. The role offers mentorship opportunities to help new therapists transition into practice seamlessly.
