Job Description:

The Solution Architect will lead the architecture, design, and implementation of a strategic Home Lending Data Modernization Program focused on establishing a scalable cloud-based data ecosystem supporting FR Y-14M regulatory reporting, enterprise analytics, and self-service data consumption. This role is responsible for defining the target-state architecture, foundational Home Lending data model, cloud migration strategy, integration architecture, and governance framework while ensuring successful migration from legacy and non-strategic platforms. The Solution Architect will partner closely with Business, Regulatory Reporting, Data Engineering, Data Governance, Controls, Testing, and Product teams to deliver a modern Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform) and BigQuery-based ecosystem that improves data quality, reduces operational complexity, automates controls, and enhances regulatory data traceability.

The Role

Responsibilities:

  • Architecture Strategy & Solution Design
  • Define and own end-to-end solution architecture for the Home Lending data ecosystem.
  • Establish target-state cloud architecture supporting FR Y-14M reporting requirements.
  • Design scalable and resilient Google Cloud Platform-based data platforms supporting regulatory, operational, and analytical workloads.
  • Develop architectural roadmaps supporting modernization and legacy retirement initiatives.
  • Define enterprise architecture standards, patterns, and guidelines.
  • Lead architecture governance reviews and design approvals.

Requirements:

  • 12+ years of Data, Integration, or Solution Architecture experience.
  • 7+ years architecting large-scale enterprise data platforms.
  • Experience leading cloud modernization programs.
  • Experience within large Banking or Financial Services organizations.
  • Experience supporting FR Y-14M reporting environments.
  • Strong Home Lending and Mortgage domain experience.
