Job description

Home Based Clinical Specialist

Provides home-based services to children and their families that need an intensive level of intervention. Services include individual and family therapy, group therapy, crisis intervention, care coordination, etc. Clinical intervention will be provided primarily in the home and community. Focus will be on the family as a unit to promote healthy family functioning and reduce the need for psychiatric hospitalization. Position is located in Standish.

Qualifications: Minimum of a Master's degree in social work, clinical psychology or counseling with current Michigan licensure appropriate to the degree. Experience providing services to children and families, psychotherapeutic services and crisis intervention required. Knowledge of clinical issues related to the treatment of children with severe emotional disturbances and their families is preferred. Must have a valid, unrestricted driver's license, proof of insurance and availability of reliable transportation for outreach work.
