Configurator Engineer

We’re looking for a talented and motivated Configurator Engineer to help shape smart, efficient product solutions that serve both our customers and our business. In this role, you’ll build and enhance configurator tools that turn engineering requirements into intuitive, high-quality user experiences. If you enjoy solving technical challenges, collaborating across teams, and bringing precision to complex product design, this is a great opportunity to make a direct impact.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, test, and launch drawing configurators that support standard product lines.
  • Enhance and maintain DriveWorks projects to improve standardization, performance, and compliance.
  • Partner with IT, Sales, and Marketing to bring configurator tools into a seamless web-based experience.
  • Create configurators that are accurate, intuitive, and easy for customers to use.
  • Review and resolve engineering change requests related to configurator design and functionality.
  • Build and maintain clear work instructions and process documentation.
  • Support system and drawing validation during software updates and platform upgrades.
  • Use FEA tools to analyze product performance under real-world conditions.
  • Design custom solutions that align with customer needs and industry requirements.
  • Prepare complete manufacturing specification packages, including engineering BOM details.
  • Apply sound engineering standards when building, revising, and releasing configurator projects.
  • Help maintain the accuracy and integrity of released engineering data.
  • Contribute to a safe, compliant, and team-focused work environment.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of engineering design experience, including 3D modeling, assemblies, and 2D drawings in SolidWorks.
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience performing FEA analysis.
  • 1+ year of DriveWorks experience.
  • Strong technical, communication, planning, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • Knowledge of the rigging and crane industries is a plus.
What You’ll Work With

You’ll work closely with Engineering leadership and collaborate across Sales, Marketing, and IT to deliver configurator solutions that are technically sound, customer-friendly, and aligned with business goals. This is a highly cross-functional role with strong visibility and meaningful impact.

Why Join Us

This is an exciting opportunity to join a team where engineering expertise, innovation, and collaboration come together to create real results. If you’re ready to apply your technical skills in a role where your work will directly support customers, product quality, and business growth, we’d love to hear from you.
