Role Description:
SRI Telecom is in search of an OSP Construction Coordinator with relevant project coordination experience to contribute to various cross-functional project teams. The ideal candidate will have robust project management skills and coordinate all aspects, from design to permitting to build, for OSP projects with a focus on Comcast. This position requires a high level of detail orientation, strong communication, collaboration, task-driven mindset, proficiency with computers, self-motivation, and comfort in participating in project calls.
Key Tasks:
  • Utilize a Salesforce-based online scheduling tool to track hundreds of project tasks.
  • Assign tasks to internal and external teams using Salesforce.
  • Monitor and update tasks for your team and provide updates on upcoming tasks.
  • Alert your team about new task assignments.
  • Participate in project calls and provide relevant updates.
  • Assist the construction manager in the field with newly acquired information.
  • Collect updates from the construction manager and update tasks in Salesforce.
  • Generate reports on project milestones, risks, and issues.
  • Manage large scope projects with 10-15 mile scope
  • Support Specialists and leadership with project coordination.
  • Communicate with all involved teams to drive project progress.
  • Manage a large number of projects using an Excel tracker.
  • Reconcile large projects and keep all projects moving in a timely manner.
  • Handle data within proprietary software.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Skills & Responsibilities:
  • Project management skills are essential.
  • Experience in BOTH fiber and coax are required
  • Must understand how to read design maps
  • Must have a strong construction background
  • Proficiency in Excel and Outlook is required.
  • Strong cross-functional team coordination skills.
  • Ability to take ownership of tasks and drive them to completion.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Self-starter capable of working independently after proper training.
  • Ability to learn and navigate proprietary software.
  • Outside Plant Experience is beneficial but not required.
