Chat and Change Counseling, LLC is actively seeking a dedicated and empathetic Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our committed team. • Conduct thorough trauma-informed assessments to evaluate clients' trauma histories, determining appropriate and effective treatment approaches.
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans that prioritize trauma recovery, resilience, and personal growth.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), tailored to each client's needs.
• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, assisting clients in processing their trauma experiences while developing healthy coping mechanisms.
• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated care, ensuring holistic support for each client.
• Provide crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies, advocating for clients' immediate needs.
• Educate clients and their families about trauma responses, helping them understand coping strategies and available resources.
• Maintain comprehensive and confidential documentation in adherence to legal and ethical standards, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems for accuracy and efficiency.
• Contribute to case consultations and participate in team meetings, sharing insights and learning from colleagues to improve service delivery.
• Stay updated on the latest research and best practices in trauma therapy to enhance the quality of care provided.

The primary focus of your role will be working with individuals grappling with trauma resulting from life-altering experiences. This includes those affected by PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. We aim to empower our clients, providing them with the necessary tools to reclaim their lives and flourish emotionally and psychologically.

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Georgia.
• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience is preferred.
• Comprehensive knowledge of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment methodologies.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, exhibiting a compassionate and non-judgmental approach to client care.
• Proficiency in EHR systems and basic computer applications.

• Experience in delivering trauma-focused therapies and creating individualized therapy plans.
• Demonstrated ability to remain calm and effective in high-stress situations.
• Collaboration within a multidisciplinary team setting.

The salary for this position ranges from $90,000 to $100,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
