Job description

POSITION SUMMARY: The Testing Updating Associate at BJU Press will play a supporting role by assisting in a variety of testing responsibilities such as: reviewing individual test orders for homeschool families, data entry, processing of test materials, checking test documents for accuracy, printing/scanning and electronic storage of critical documents, preparing test booklets for recirculation, assisting the Updating Coordinator in other daily tasks, and general customer service.

About the Team: The Testing Services team seeks to support the mission of BJU Press by helping home school families and schools maintain compliance with state regulations by providing objective measurements of academic achievement to inform educators of student growth through standardized testing.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Participate in general office duties
  • Assure accuracy of test documents and update all issues and mistakes.
  • Communicate with customers by phone and email
  • Trouble-shooting and problem solving as related to test documents
  • Provide general customer service to customers via phone

SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES NEEDED TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE:
  • Detail-oriented
  • Proficient with computers
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to organize, multitask, and delegate
  • Supportive of homeschooling
