Emphasizes time management across all sections and building confidence through systematic practice and familiarity with question formats.
- Curriculum Awareness & Adaptive Instruction: Familiar with TACHS test structure and common challenges such as the estimation-based math format, abstract reasoning in the Ability section, and the breadth of grammar topics tested. Adapts instruction using TACHS practice booklets, timed section drills, and vocabulary building exercises to support eighth grade students seeking admission to Catholic high schools in the New York City metropolitan area.
- Effective Teaching Methods: Ability to identify concepts students commonly struggle with, explain material using multiple approaches, and adapt instruction to meet individual learning needs and styles.
