As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist at Prince Georges Rehab Clinic LLC, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Assessing and managing patients recovering from surgical procedures, injuries, or chronic conditions to develop tailored treatment plans that promote healing and mobility.
• Utilizing a range of therapeutic methods, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities to address pain and mobility issues effectively.
• Monitoring patient progress, documenting responses to treatment, and adjusting therapeutic goals based on ongoing evaluations.
• Collaborating with patients, families, and caregivers to educate them on treatment plans, exercises, and the effective use of assistive devices.
• Staying updated with advancements in the field through continuous education and participation in professional organizations, ensuring that the highest standards of care are maintained.

You will primarily work with a diverse patient population that encompasses children, adults, and seniors with a variety of orthopedic issues. This may include post-operative patients, individuals recovering from injuries, or those coping with chronic pain conditions. By providing therapy in their home environment, you will greatly enhance patients' comfort levels and encourage active participation in their rehabilitation process.

The position requires the following qualifications:

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• A valid State License in Physical Therapy, ensuring legal compliance to practice in Florida.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, enabling effective interaction with patients and their families.
• Basic proficiency in word processing and computer applications for documenting patient records.
• Adaptability and responsiveness to meet the varying needs of patients in home care settings.
