Job description

AmeriLux Family of Companies is seeking a talented Software Developer to join our dynamic technology team.

As a Software Developer at AmeriLux, you will play a critical role in developing and maintaining innovative software solutions that support our business operations and growth. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, test, and deploy high-quality software products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborating with management, departments, and customers to identify end-user requirements and specifications.
  • Designing algorithms and flowcharts to create new software programs and systems.
  • Producing efficient and elegant code based on organizational requirements.
  • Testing and deploying programs and applications.
  • Troubleshooting, debugging, maintaining, and improving existing software.
  • Compiling and assessing user feedback to improve software performance.
  • Observing user feedback to recommend improvements to existing software products.
  • Developing technical documentation to guide future software development projects. Potential to lead the existing software development team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience is preferred.
  • Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Java, C#, Python, or JavaScript.
  • Experience with software development lifecycle and agile methodologies.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and in a collaborative team environment.
