This position requires an onsite presence at our Surgical Center located in the vibrant city of Cape Coral, Florida. Working closely with surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, you will be immersed in a collaborative environment where teamwork is essential. • Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' physical and mental health, performing detailed physical examinations and obtaining thorough medical histories.

• Order and analyze diagnostic tests and laboratory work, interpreting results to formulate an accurate picture of patients’ health needs.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans, prescribing medication and other therapies according to accepted standards and protocols, while considering efficacy, safety, and cost.

• Provide in-depth counseling to patients and their families regarding health conditions, treatment options, medication management, nutrition, and preventive healthcare strategies.

• Document all patient interactions and maintain detailed records of treatment plans and outcomes, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational protocols.

• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient care while managing complex cases beyond the primary clinic setting.

• Perform minor surgical procedures as delegated by supervising physicians, utilizing your specialized training and ensuring patient safety at all times.

• Participate in after-hours care when necessary, providing coverage to meet the department's needs and ensuring continuity of care.

The patients you will work with include those undergoing surgical procedures, requiring pre-operative assessments, and post-operative care. Our diverse patient population may consist of individuals from various backgrounds and age groups, each presenting unique health challenges and needs. Your ability to empathize and communicate effectively will be essential in building therapeutic relationships that enhance patient outcomes.

• A Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited program for Physician Assistants.

• Current licensure and certification to practice as a Physician Assistant in the state of Florida.

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a clinical setting, preferably in surgical or specialty care.

• Ability to maintain a high standard of patient care and empathy, exhibiting excellent interpersonal skills.

• Experience in a surgical environment.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems.

• Additional certifications relevant to surgical procedures and patient management.

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 140,000 to USD 180,000, commensurate with experience.
