A Holistic RN is a registered nurse who takes a whole-person approach to patient care, addressing the physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual aspects of health. They may incorporate complementary therapies such as nutrition counseling, mindfulness, aromatherapy, or energy healing alongside traditional medical treatments. What are the typical responsibilities of a holistic RN during a workweek?

As a Holistic RN, your responsibilities often include performing thorough patient assessments, developing integrative care plans, and incorporating complementary therapies like relaxation techniques or nutrition counseling alongside conventional nursing care. You’ll collaborate closely with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to deliver patient-centered care that addresses body, mind, and spirit.
