Lead a Team That Makes a Difference

ARSYS is looking to hire a Residential Supervisor / Program Coordinator for an all-female home. This program is currently serving 4 individuals. The Individuals range in age from 30s to 50s. Currently the individuals enjoy Community Education Classes and participating in Special Olympics. They do not require a lot of hands on care, but note there are some required. All individuals have jobs/day programs throughout the week. We are looking for a Supervisor / Program Coordinator that can keep the individuals active and healthy. Healthy/balanced meals are equally important for this program. As part of your role you must be able to shop and plan healthy meals.

This leadership role is responsible for supporting Direct Support Professionals, ensuring quality care for individuals served, maintaining compliance standards, and helping create a safe, positive, and supportive home environment.

The ideal candidate is organized, compassionate, team-oriented, and experienced in residential care or human services leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and support Direct Support Professionals (DSPs)
  • Assist with scheduling, staffing, and shift coverage
  • Ensure quality care and compliance with program policies
  • Train and mentor staff on procedures and care plans
  • Support individuals with daily living and community involvement
  • Monitor documentation, medication administration, and program standards
  • Maintain communication with families, guardians, and leadership
  • Assist with incident reporting and problem resolution
  • Promote a safe, respectful, and supportive environment

Job Requirements for Residential Supervisor / Program Coordinator:

  • 4-year degree and 1 year of full-time direct care OR
  • 2-year degree and 2 years of full-time direct care OR
  • Diploma (accredited postsecondary) and 3 years full time direct care OR
  • Minimum of 50 hours of education/training and 4 years full time direct care under the supervision of a staff person who is one of the above.
  • Provide care during physical behaviors, mental health episodes, and personal cares.

Job Description for our Residential Supervisor / Program Coordinator includes but not limited to:

  • Supervision of DSP within the program. Ensuring DSPs meet compliance
  • Building and maintaining a monthly staff schedule for DSPs
  • Required to fill all open shifts to meet the needs of the clients
  • Required to work at least 20 hours of direct care a week within the home
  • Required to respond to clients or DSPs outside of your scheduled time
  • Required to participate as a Weekend OnCall Supervisor 2 to 3 times a year
  • Oversee health/dental/vision appointments for all individuals within the program
  • Ensure program documents are up to date and properly completed
  • Coordinate and communicate with the teams of all clients
  • Proficient in basic computer skills, able to use Microsoft office applications
  • Position requires Full time status (35-40 hours weekly) with overtime opportunities
