As a Britescape Holiday Lighting Installer, you will be professionally installing, maintaining, and removing holiday lighting systems at residential and commercial locations. This is a fun time of year, bringing smiles to people and being able to step back and admire a job well done. Join us!

Overview:

A Britescape Holiday Lighting Technician is responsible for partnering with the Lead Holiday Lighting Technician for installation, maintenance, and removal of holiday lighting displays for various venues, such as commercial properties, public spaces, and private homes. This role involves a mix of technical skills, creative design, and customer service.

PAY: 
  • $25-27 DOE / hour (8-10 hours / day)
  • OT Availability

  • ***Start Date: September 1, 2026*** (This is a seasonal job running from September-February)

 What You’ll Be Doing
  • Working with a team of holiday lighting installers to set up, and take down lighting systems at client properties

  • Working outside in the elements…rain or shine!

  • Loading, unpacking, and carrying ladders/equipment

  • Climbing and working from ladders as well as roofs

  • Receiving full training on ladder safety and fall-restraint systems when on roofs

  • Ensuring the safety of yourself and others on your team by maintaining safety standards

  • Locating, reporting, and troubleshooting power issues related to lighting systems or lit decor

  • Organizing lights, decorations, tools, inventory, and inventory within vehicles as well as warehouse

  • Maintaining a positive attitude with customers, fellow employees, and supervisors

 What We’re Looking For
  • No experience required. We are looking for people with a solid work ethic

  • Not afraid of heights

  • Ability to follow instructions and work well with others

  • Must be able to work consistently!  Show up each day - on time - ready to work!

  • Strong problem-solving and multitasking skills

  • Ability to regularly lift objects weighing 10 pounds or more

  • Occasionally lift heavy objects weighing up to 50 pounds

  • Good driving record

  • Basic electrical knowledge is helpful

Requirements
  • Valid driver’s license

  • Graduated high school or GED equivalent

  • Be punctual and reliable

  • Provide your own rain gear and all-terrain footwear
