Working Title: Student Equipment Assistant, Duke Football
Position Summary:
The Student Equipment Assistant is responsible for the issuance, maintenance and upkeep of the equipment and apparel for varsity sport programs and various other athletic departments. This is a part-time, non-benefits eligible position.

Qualifications:
Student worker experience working with collegiate athletics, focus on equipment preferred
Knowledge, Skills and Ability:
Effective written and verbal communication
Strong organizational and problem solving skills needed
The scope of this position requires weekend, evening and possible holiday hours
Thrive in fast paced environment, possess a keen attention to details, and ability to multi-task
Ability to lift at least 50 pounds
Essential Functions:
Provide laundry services for the athletics department
Distribute clean laundry to student athletes, staff and coaches
Provide after hour assistance for competition, practice, and events
Assist other staff members with daily assignments and projects
Inventory athletic apparel and equipment and distribute to proper departments
Assist with set up for athletic competitions and practice
