Job description

We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Area Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the maintenance operations of our hotel and property. This key leadership role ensures the safe, efficient, and high-quality maintenance of all physical assets in alignment with the organization's standards and operational goals. 

The ideal candidate has a strong background in building systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, etc.), project management, and team supervision. You’ll be responsible for both day-to-day repair needs and long-term preventative maintenance planning, while maintaining safety standards and budget controls.

Compensation:

$45,000 - $55,000 yearly


Responsibilities:
  • Manage daily operations of the maintenance team, including scheduling, task delegation, training, and quality control to ensure work is completed safely and on time.
  • Direct and manage improvement projects, renovations, and construction efforts, including scope planning, contractor coordination, and budget tracking.
  • Lead and coordinate all preventive and routine maintenance activities for the hotel and surrounding property to ensure optimal performance and guest satisfaction.
  • Maintain strong communication with internal departments, leadership, vendors, and contractors to ensure seamless operations and project updates.
  • Monitor and manage maintenance budgets, inventory, and purchasing of tools, parts, and equipment.

Qualifications:
  • 1-3 years of related maintenance experience, preferably in hospitality or property management.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on teamwork, service, and communication.
  • Proven experience supervising maintenance teams and coordinating multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills across electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical systems.
  • A high school diploma or general education degree (GED), or one to three months of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
