Job Description
Job Title: Housekeeping
Reports to: Executive Housekeeper amp; Management
Location: Holiday Inn Express amp; Suites Perry
Summary:
Responsible for fully cleaning guest rooms, and organizing and stocking housekeeping carts. Additional responsibilities may be required.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
  • Stocking supplies in housekeeping cart to prepare for the day
  • Checking at the start of the workday in with our tracking platform-Quore
  • Completing IHG’s Way of Clean training
  • Cleaning all areas of the room in the manner taught in training
  • Reporting to Executive housekeeper upon completion of work or as needed
  • Extra cleaning may be required on various days
  • Must be able to lift 10 lbs
  • Communicate with front desk regarding special guest needs, etc.
  • Organization and care of cartroom/supply areas
Qualification Requirements:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Applicants should be self-motivated, and willing to do a variety of cleaning-related tasks, which may change based on needs and requirements.
Experience:
Prior experience is a plus, but we will offer training.
Physical Demands:
Light to moderate lifting may be required, and flexibility to bend and make beds, and other routine cleaning activities.
