Description
Affholder Construction is one of the fastest growing tunneling contractors in the U.S. We are seeking hard-working and reliable Tunnel Laborers to join our team in Austin, TX.  As an industry leader in tunnel construction, Affholder provides the opportunity to work with some of the most talented and accomplished professionals in the industry. We offer competitive wages, great benefits, and a tremendous amount of growth potential.
Responsibilities:
  • Perform tasks involving physical labor at construction projects, tunnel and shaft excavations
  • May operate hand and power tools of all types including a variety of other equipment and instruments.
  • Clean and prepare sites, dig trenches, set braces to support the sides of excavations.
  • Performs related duties as requested
Qualifications:
  • Experienced in underground construction industry, mainly miners/drillers and working around TBM
  • Experience running a Jackleg is a plus
  • Regular attendance and punctuality
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Must pass ATF Background Check and pre-employment drug screening
