Hoag Health, the top-ranked health system in Orange County is seeking an experienced and dedicated OB/GYN Nurse Practitioner to join our growing program as a per diem provider! The ideal candidate will provide exceptional care to women throughout their reproductive health journey, including prenatal, labor, delivery, and postpartum care. This role requires a strong commitment to patient advocacy and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to ensure the best outcomes for our patients.


Details

  • Schedule: Per diem. 6-8 hour shifts on weekends
  • Location: Hoag Hospital – Newport Beach, CA
  • Duties: Inpatient based role inclusive of: Rounding on post-partum patients, post-operative patients, supporting with discharging, planning follow up care, escalating acute clinical matters to our Ob/GYN Physicians.
  • Staff: Seasoned and tenured support staff including Ob Laborists and RN’s
  • EMR: Epic

Requirements:


  • California Nurse Practitioner license in good standing
  • Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
  • Ability to obtain medical staff privileges at Hoag Hospital(s)
  • Experience or knowledge in management of post-partum and post-operative patients required
  • Inpatient experience required
  • Strong communication skills for patient education and interdisciplinary collaboration.
  • Compassionate approach towards patient care with an emphasis on empathy and support.
