Job Description
A leading manufacturer of metal stamped products and services is seeking Single - Hit Machine Operators to work in either Single Press or Value Add positions in Valley City, Ohio. The role involves ensuring production runs smoothly, maintaining equipment, and adhering to safety standards. Operators will perform stamping, in-process inspections, and report issues to supervisors. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to a growing, team-focused environment.
Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate material and scrap removal with material handler and ensure proper handling of products
  • Report miss-hits or production issues to the Production Supervisor
  • Track labor time and part count on work order routers
  • Perform stamping and in-process inspections as per the control plan, including quality checks
  • Conduct equipment safety checks and perform routine maintenance on press and tools
Qualifications and Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
  • Basic computer skills and experience with online work order routers
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well in a team environment
  • Physical capability to reach, bend, push, pull, and wear personal protective equipment on the shop floor
