Position: Health Information Technology (HIT) Manager/Director

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Health Information Technology (HIT) Manager/Director to oversee our HIT department. The HIT Manager/Director will be responsible for managing and maintaining our electronic health records system, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations, and implementing new technologies to improve efficiency and quality of care.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage and maintain the electronic health records system, ensuring accuracy, security, and compliance with HIPAA regulations

- Develop and implement HIT policies and procedures to ensure efficient and effective use of technology

- Train and support staff on the use of HIT systems and troubleshoot any issues that arise

- Collaborate with other departments to identify and implement new technologies to improve processes and enhance patient care

- Monitor and analyze HIT data to identify areas for improvement and make recommendations for enhancements

- Ensure all HIT systems are up to date and in compliance with industry standards

- Stay current on industry trends and advancements in HIT to make strategic recommendations for the company

- Develop and manage the HIT budget, including forecasting and cost analysis

- Oversee the selection and implementation of new HIT systems and software

- Ensure all staff are trained on new HIT systems and provide ongoing support and training as needed

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Health Information Management, Information Technology, or a related field

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in HIT management or a similar role
