Job description

Coolmore Truck Lines is hiring a CDL A Regional Flatbed 1099 Driver in Memphis, TN. Drivers will be primarily hauling steel coils for a dedicated customer in the southern states. Coolmore Truck Lines is looking for professional and qualified drivers to grow our team. When you drive with Coolmore, you're backed by quality equipment, real support, and a dispatch team that understands your grind.

Compensation

  • Average weekly pay: $1,500 - $2,000
  • 25% of load pay
    • Original rate cons shared
  • Detention pay
  • Bonuses:
    • Referral bonus: $750 paid in 3 installments over the new driver’s first 90 days
    • Clean inspection bonus: $150
    • Monthly safety bonus awarded to safest driver: $250
  • Paid by 1099
  • Paid via direct deposit weekly

Home Time, Route, & Schedule

  • Home Time: Home weekends & home at least once during the week

  • Route: Southern region primarily hauling in TN, AR, MS, TX, GA, AL, LA, MO, IL
  • Level of Touch: Strapping, tarping, chaining

Equipment

  • 2020-2022 Volvo, Peterbilt, & International trucks
  • Automatic transmission
  • Amenities: Fridge, tv mount, inverter
  • No governed speed
  • ELD equipped with Samsara system
  • Outward facing camera

Qualifications

  • Must be at least 23 years of age
  • Must have CDL A license
  • Must have a minimum of 2 years recent verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience
  • Must have at least 1 year of flatbed driving experience
  • No DUI/DWIs in the past 5 years
  • TWIC card preferred
  • Must meet Department of Transportation (DOT) testing and physical requirements and be knowledgeable of DOT regulations
  • Must be able to pass a required pre-employment drug screen
  • Hiring Radius: Drivers must live within 150 miles of Memphis, TN or be willing to relocate for this position
