    Job Description:
    • Prepare and cook authentic Thai dishes utilizing advanced culinary knowledge, traditional techniques, and expertise in Thai cuisine.
    • Collaborate with other kitchen personnel to plan, develop, and improve Thai recipes and menus, taking into account seasonal ingredient availability, customer preferences, and anticipated dining volume.
    • Determine appropriate methods of food presentation and create decorative and culturally authentic Thai food displays that reflect traditional aesthetics.
    • Inspect and ensure the quality, consistency, and authenticity of raw and cooked food products, maintaining the restaurant’s established culinary standards.
    • Verify the quantity, freshness, and quality of all ingredients and supplies received from vendors.
    • Monitor inventory levels, manage stock rotation, and order necessary ingredients and materials to support uninterrupted kitchen operations.
    • Develop production schedules and determine staffing requirements to ensure efficient and timely preparation and delivery of menu items.
    • Provide hands-on training and guidance to less-skilled cooks and kitchen staff in Thai culinary arts, emphasizing traditional preparation methods, use of authentic ingredients, and proper cooking techniques.
    • Enforce and adhere to all standards and regulations regarding food safety, hygiene, and sanitary practices in compliance with local health codes.
    • Maintain high standards of quality control, kitchen organization, and workplace health and safety to ensure efficient and consistent operation.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of experience preparing and cooking authentic Thai cuisine, including Thai curries, sauces, soups, stir-fried dishes, and other traditional Thai specialties.

• Demonstrated knowledge of traditional Thai ingredients, herbs, spices, sauces, and cooking techniques.

• Ability to prepare a wide variety of authentic Thai dishes while maintaining consistency in taste, quality, and presentation.

• Experience using traditional Thai food preparation methods and kitchen equipment.

• Ability to train and supervise kitchen staff in Thai culinary techniques and food preparation procedures.

• Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and health regulations applicable to commercial kitchen operations.

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment while maintaining high quality standards.

• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

• Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively with kitchen staff and management.

Wage :  $34,500-39,000/year
