Chara Christian Dance Academy is looking to hire Part-Time Hip Hop teachers to train beginner through advanced dancers in South Houston's largest dance studio. The mission of this position is deliver quality, high performance dance instruction that impacts children and families through the performing arts. Results will be measured by the meeting of student advancement, retention and enjoyment.
You will work directly with our School Director, Meghan Owen, to cultivate a positive dance program that last our students a lifetime!
You are the rock star we are looking for if you are creative, responsible, enjoy working in a face-paced environment, love kids, and want to GROW.
You will be working with our owner, business manager, school director, and fellow faculty so an easy to work with personality is a must as well as the desire to be a team player within a top class team.
Qualifications:
Completed or pursuing a dance degree preferred
Prior teaching experience
Profession performance experience a plus
Other expectations/skills:

  • Mature, wise, poised.
  • Fast, efficient and proficient work.
  • Positive interaction with children.
  • A desire to make learning fun.

Compensation: $20-$35 per hour based on experience and ongoing contribution. Retirement and health benefit potential as well. Ability to increase compensation with select trainings.
