About the Role:
Hilton Garden Inn Austin Central is looking for an energetic and passionate Breakfast Attendant/Cook to help us start our guests' days off right! In this role, you'll be the heart of our morning operation, delivering warm, delicious food and a welcoming atmosphere that sets the tone for an unforgettable stay in Austin, TX.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and cook hot and cold breakfast items including eggs, meats, pastries, and fresh sides
  • Set up, maintain, and replenish breakfast buffet stations throughout the morning service
  • Greet and assist hotel guests in a friendly, professional manner
  • Monitor food quality, presentation, and portion control to meet Hilton brand standards
  • Ensure proper food handling, storage, and sanitation practices are followed at all times
  • Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, countertops, and dining areas before, during, and after service
  • Track and communicate inventory needs to management to ensure adequate breakfast supplies
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a food service, kitchen, or hospitality role preferred
  • Basic cooking skills and knowledge of food preparation techniques
  • Ability to work early morning shifts, including weekends and holidays
  • Strong customer service skills with a friendly, guest-first attitude
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards (Food Handler Certification a plus)
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently with minimal supervision
