Location: This position will be onsite at our corporate offices in Allen, Texas (Dallas-Fort Worth area).

We are seeking a Test Engineer with 5+ years of professional experience in testing embedded products. More experience will be considered for a more senior position. This is a critical position for the company and the proper candidate will enjoy industry-leading benefits and work environment shared with top notch talent, as well as opportunities for growth and self-development in one of the industry's highest growth companies.
This position will work with engineering and test team and be specifically focused on automation of our firmware regression and manufacturing testers.The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and a proven track record of delivering high-quality test automation solutions.
Responsibilities:
"MUST HAVE embedded and/or hardware testing experience.This is NOT a software testing position."
  • Design and develop testers for power electronic embedded systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including hardware engineers, firmware engineers, software engineers and system architects, to define test requirements and test system interfaces.
  • Assist with implementing and maintaining all test automation portions of CI/CD pipelines for all projects.
  • Participate in the full product development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, implementation, testing, and documentation.
  • Help develop, automate, and maintain various quality metrics for the company's products.
  • Debug and troubleshoot software and hardware integration issues, utilizing appropriate tools and techniques.
  • Assist with maintaining documentation for test designs, development processes, and project deliverables.
  • Manage test data, analyze results, and provide actionable feedback to stakeholders.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's in Computer Engineering or Electrical/Electronics Engineering, or a closely related field from an accredited US University.
  • Proficiency in programming languages like LabVIEW and TestStand.
  • At least 5 years of experience in embedded development or test.Hands-on experience with HIL platforms.
  • Proficiency in debugging and troubleshooting embedded systems using hardware and software debugging tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet project deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.

Desired Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of power electronics and control algorithms.
  • Experience in testing software for real-time control applications.
  • Understanding of signal conditioning, instrumentation, and data acquisition hardware.
  • Experience with CAD tools for design review.
  • Familiarity with at least one of the following cloud environments: AWS, Azure, GCP.
