Job Description:

We are seeking a dynamic and organized individual to join our team as an Activities and Events Associate. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in creating memorable experiences for our luxury RV resort guests by planning, coordinating, and managing a diverse range of resort activities and events. From children’s programming and adult activities to movie nights and seasonal events, you will be instrumental in fostering a vibrant and engaging atmosphere within the resort.

Job Requirements:

  • Strategically plan, coordinate, oversee, and manage a diverse array of resort activities and events, including children’s and adult programming, both free and paid, as well as movie nights
  • Contribute to the creation and maintenance of a comprehensive resort activities calendar
  • Lead and assist with setup and cleanup for all activities and events
  • Establish and maintain a tracking system to monitor attendance, vendor participation, revenue, and expenses for each activity
  • Assist in ensuring timely payment of invoices and accurate documentation of all financial transactions
  • Actively participate in training and supporting team members and volunteers within the Activities and Events department
  • Support the development of seasonal event calendars while adhering to budget guidelines
  • Prepare and distribute newsletters to guests and residents featuring upcoming activities and events
  • Collaborate in the planning and execution of fundraising or community support initiatives
  • Manage and maintain inventory of activity supplies and ensure proper organization
  • Ensure proper care, maintenance, and readiness of equipment and supplies
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support the success of the Activities and Events department
