The primary responsibility is to prospect new potential customers, nurture them to conversion, and close sales—while maximizing both revenue and profit margins.

Prior Experience Requirements

  • Minimum 5+ years of sales experience, specifically in commercial contract furniture new business development.
    • We are only considering candidates who have sold commercial contract furniture directly for a dealership (for example: Haworth, MillerKnoll, Steelcase, Teknion, Kimball, HON, Global Furniture Group, Hightower, Humanscale, KI, SitOnIt, Allsteel, etc.).
    • Please include a cover letter with your resume explaining which product lines you sold and the dealership(s) where you were employed.
  • ​Experience in the architectural, construction, engineering, design, or interior market is a plus.
  • Office interiors, Commercial Real Estate, and/or Construction contacts are a plus.

Technical Requirements

  • Skilled and proven in prospecting, negotiating, influencing, and closing new clients.
  • Knowledgeable with Salesforce, or similar CRM

  • Proven track record of learning a new industry and applying knowledge.
  • Positive attitude with a commitment to professionalism and integrity
