Job description

What You'll Do:
As a Collection Manager at Criteo, you will lead a team of Team Leads and Cash Collectors responsible for managing the end-to-end accounts receivable and collections process across our North American client's portfolio. Operating within the Global Finance / Order-to-Cash (O2C) team, you will drive team performance, reduce overdue balances, improve Days Sales Outstanding (DSO), and maintain strong partnerships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely payment of invoices.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of Team Leads and Cash Collectors, setting clear performance goals and fostering a high-performance culture
  • Oversee the full collections cycle for a large portfolio of clients (brands, agencies, retailers)
  • Monitor team KPIs including DSO, overdue rate, and cash collection targets, and drive continuous improvement
  • Collaborating with Sales and Finance teams to resolve billing disputes, credit issues, and payment discrepancies
  • Manage escalated cases and oversee pausing, handoffs to Legal when necessary
  • Ensure accurate documentation of all collection activities in the systems
  • Identify and implement process improvements and automation to enhance collection efficiency and reduce bad debt exposure
  • Ensure compliance with internal credit policies and applicable US regulations
  • Report regularly to Senior GPO Manager on team performance, risk accounts, and cash flow outlook

People Management
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of Team Leads and Cash Collectors
  • Set individual and team performance goals; conduct regular 1:1s and performance reviews
  • Foster a collaborative, results-driven team culture
  • Onboard and train new team members on processes and tools

Collections & Operations
  • Oversee the end-to-end collections cycle for a large portfolio of advertiser accounts
  • Monitor aging receivables and team follow-up cadence on overdue invoices
  • Manage escalated disputes and oversee handoffs to Legal when necessary
  • Analyze and report on team KPIs (DSO, overdue rate, cash forecasts) weekly/monthly
  • Maintain accurate records in the ERP system
  • Identify and implement process improvements and automation to reduce bad debt exposure
  • Support month-end close activities related to accounts receivable
  • Ensure compliance with internal credit policies and US regulations

Who You Are:
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 5 to 8 years in collections, accounts receivable, or credit management, including at least 3 to 5 years in a people management role (managing Team Leads and/or senior Cash Collectors).
  • Experience in a fast-paced international tech, media, or AdTech environment is strongly preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Proven people management skills: coaching, performance management, team development
  • Solid knowledge of O2C and accounts receivable processes
  • Credit risk assessment and dispute resolution
  • Ability to manage and drive performance across a team
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills with external clients
  • Analytical mindset with ability to report on KPIs (DSO, aging, cash forecasts)
  • Comfort working cross-functionally in a fast-paced, international environment
  • ERP systems: SAP, Oracle, or CRM or collection tools

The US base salary pay range for this position per year is:
$108,000 - $140,000
