This position is primarily onsite, requiring the Physical Therapist to work directly in patients' homes throughout the Miami area. • Direct and oversee personalized rehabilitation plans aimed at improving patient mobility, reducing pain, and restoring function in accordance with physician directives.
• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients’ physical capabilities, which include assessments of muscle strength, joint stability, and overall function.
• Monitor progress by documenting treatment outcomes and modifications to ensure patients are achieving their goals effectively.
• Educate patients and their families on therapies, exercises, and techniques that promote independence and engagement in their own care.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams during case conferences, actively participating in the development and revision of comprehensive care strategies.
• Supervise Physical Therapy Assistants to ensure adherence to the outlined care plans, providing guidance and support as necessary.
• Administer manual therapies, therapeutic exercises, and modalities such as traction and ultrasound as part of treatment regimens.
• Maintain detailed clinical records, including evaluations, care plans, and progress notes, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
• Assess home environments for potential barriers to therapy and suggest modifications needed for safe and effective independent living.

You will work primarily with orthopedic patients recovering from surgeries, injuries, or chronic conditions. Our clientele includes a diverse group of individuals, from post-operative patients seeking rehabilitation to elderly clients aiming to maintain their functional independence. Your role is critical in fostering their quality of life through individualized and compassionate care strategies.

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited program, demonstrating a strong foundation of knowledge and clinical skills.
• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in good standing in Florida, with the ability to demonstrate compliance with all regulatory and legal requirements.
• Current CPR certification to ensure readiness for emergency situations.
• Exceptional communication skills that enable effective interaction with patients, families, and team members.
• A client-focused mindset that emphasizes empathy and a collaborative approach to rehabilitation.

While a minimum of one year of clinical experience is preferred, ideal candidates will have direct experience in both acute care and home healthcare settings, demonstrating versatility and adaptability in diverse patient interactions. Familiarity with the latest therapeutic techniques and technologies in physical therapy will be an advantage.

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000, commensurate with experience, alongside a comprehensive benefits package including healthcare, dental, vision, and pharmacy coverage.
