Your responsibilities will encompass a broad range of activities within our orthopedic team, including:

• Developing comprehensive treatment plans aimed at preventing disability and relieving pain while fostering muscle function improvement.
• Conducting thorough evaluations of clients, utilizing diagnostic tools to assess muscle, nerve, and joint functionality.
• Administering individual and group therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and physical agents to stimulate recovery.
• Collaborating with physical therapy assistants to ensure consistent implementation of care plans and adherence to best practices.
• Monitoring and documenting each patient’s progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans based on their responses and clinical findings.
• Engaging with patients’ families and other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to care.
• Preparing detailed clinical records, including evaluations, care plans, and progress notes, and coordinating with the interdisciplinary team for comprehensive patient management.

The Orthopedic Physical Therapist at Highlands Physiotherapy Clinic will work primarily with patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, injuries, or chronic pain issues. Our patient population includes diverse demographics, from active adults to elderly patients, all requiring tailored rehabilitation strategies that address their specific needs and goals. The ideal candidate will meet the following qualifications:

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure to practice as a Physical Therapist in Florida.
• Recent CPR certification.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills to engage effectively with patients and their families.
• Ability to take initiative, exercise professional judgment, and demonstrate a commitment to excellence and quality.

We strongly prefer candidates with:

• At least one year of experience as a Physical Therapist, specifically within acute care or home care settings.
• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy.
• Knowledge of current federal and state healthcare regulations, and the ability to apply them effectively in clinical practice.

The compensation for this full-time role ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
