Job Description
Job Title: Registered Nurse

Experience: 2 years of current Medical-Surgical/Telemetry experience
License: Active Compact or State License required
Certifications: AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, NIHSS required
Must-Have:
- Current Medical-Surgical/Telemetry experience
- Experience with ratios of 1:5 to 1:6
- Familiarity with Meditech EMR
- Must float within scope of practice
- Availability to work every other weekend
Description:
We are seeking a Registered Nurse with a minimum of 2 years of current experience in Medical-Surgical/Telemetry.
The nurse will be responsible for providing care for adult and geriatric patients.
The nurse must manage a patient ratio of 5 to 6 and will utilize Meditech for charting.
Certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS are required.
The position will require floating within the scope of practice and working every other weekend.
Candidates must possess either a Kentucky license or a compact license.
Blocked scheduling cannot be accommodated.
Orientation will be bi-weekly.
This role involves working with interdisciplinary support teams and may include handling various patient diagnoses.
Responsibilities will include monitoring cardiac telemetry, administering medications, and managing IV lines and other essential tasks.
Experience with patient care in various medical situations, including postoperative care, will be important.
The nurse will be expected to follow established protocols and perform necessary assessments and interventions.
