Position Overview

The Department of Physics at the Ohio State University invites applications for a Visiting Assistant Professor

Performance Objectives

Maintain active engagement with the renovation project by working onsite for at least three business days during each six-week period to collaborate with renovation leads and by participating virtually in all biweekly renovation status meetings when not attending in person.

Education and Experience Requirements
  • Candidates must hold a PhD in Physics or a closely related field.
  • Demonstrated expertise in AMO physics.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with faculty, staff, and renovation project stakeholders.
  • Ability to fulfill the position’s onsite and virtual participation requirements.
